Your goal is to keep your yard safe from the zombies that are trying to attack.
There are mutant plants growing in the garden, and you have to use those plants to fend off the zombies that are walking down the streets of town. You can also play as the zombies in this version of the game. Either way, you will come out as a hero for the team that you're fighting with. There are multiple types of equipment to use with the plants or the zombies that are special for each team to defend the group. You can unlock more powers as you get farther into the game.
